Time to meet another familiar face…

Meet Evan Rowlands as Dick

Evan has been part of Wickersley Youngstars for five shows. A natural performer, starting at just 10 years old. Evan loves being on stage and is always up for a good giggle, bringing energy and humour to every role he takes on.

His previous credits with WYS include Mr Spritzer in Hairspray, Dennis in Rock of Ages, and Lurch in The Addams Family.

Dream Role: Hades in Hadestown or Inspector Javert in Les Misérables.

Stepping into the spotlight next… ✨

Meet Daisy Booth as Kathy

Daisy joined Wickersley Youngstars in 2025 playing ancestor Chav Adams. Her stage journey began at just three years old in Small Wonders with Thompson Dance Studios, and she’s also performed as a dancer in Wickersley School and Sports College’s 2024 Movement Festival.

Daisy is so excited to play Kathy and thanks the production team for the chance to shine!

Dream role: any of the Pink Ladies in Grease

Up next, say hello to…

Meet Amelia Martin as Maria

At just 13, Amelia is a dedicated performer who brings high energy and emotional depth to every role.
Her journey began at Let’s Act in 2019 with credits including Dodger in Oliver Twist, Bruce and Mrs Wormwood in Matilda, and Jan in Grease. She holds her LAMDA qualification and Grade 5 in Musical Theatre Solo.

In 2025 she joined British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT) for The Naughty Carriage on the Orphan Train at Birmingham Hippodrome, earning Level 8 in Musical Theatre, and most recently appeared in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with Doncaster Stage Productions at Cast Theatre.

Dream role: Heather Chandler in Heathers

Clocking in next for 9 to 5… ⏰

Meet Lillian Horton as Margaret

9 to 5 is Lillian’s first show with Wickersley Youngstars, but far from her first time on stage.In just over 3 years of theatre, she’s appeared in 7 shows, including Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, Queen Iduna in Frozen Jr, and understudy Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls Jr.

When she’s not performing, Lillian works as a professional fairy at ‘The Fairy Room’ in Dinnington and is studying Level 3 Musical Theatre at college.

Dream role: anything in Into the Woods — though 9 to 5 is a very close second!

Meet Levi Moyse as Dwayne

Levi is delighted to be taking on the role of Dwayne in 9 to 5 The Musical. He is a member of the Young Players at The Phoenix Theatre in Bawtry, where his previous roles include Eugene in Grease and, most recently, Lefou in Beauty and the Beast.

Currently studying for his A Levels, Levi enjoys spending his spare time volunteering on the North Yorkshire Moors and pursuing his passion for scuba diving.

Dream role: Marty McFly in Back to the Future

Another face you’ll see lighting up the office… 💼

Meet Zak Humphreys as Josh

Zak didn’t say a word until he was three years old, but since discovering the stage at the age of five, he hasn’t stopped performing. Most at home in front of an audience, he has developed a real passion for theatre, singing, and acting, and thrives whenever he gets the chance to entertain.

Since joining Let’s Act Drama in 2019, Zak has appeared in numerous productions while also working through his LAMDA exams. He is currently studying for his Grade 5 Musical Theatre qualification and has achieved distinctions in every exam so far — something he is incredibly proud of. Last year, he took to the stage as Pugsley Addams in The Addams Family, adding to his growing list of performance credits.

Zak joined Wickersley Youngstars for the first time last year and quickly found a second family. The friendships, support, and opportunities have made such an impact that he says he’ll “never leave” if he can help it. He is especially excited to be part of 9 to 5 The Musical and can’t wait to take to the stage once again.

Dream role: Jamie New in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Ready for the next introduction? 👀

Meet Laurentiu Sipos as Josh

Laurentiu joined Wickersley Youngstars last year, making his debut as Matador Addams in The Addams Family. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength in the performing arts.

He first took to the stage at the age of 11 as a dancer, training in a range of styles including jazz, street, and contemporary, before discovering a passion for theatre. Since starting his musical theatre course at college in 2024, Laurentiu has continued to develop as a well-rounded triple threat. His recent roles include Pablo in Sister Act and Rusty Charlie in Guys and Dolls Jr.

Laurentiu is excited to be part of 9 to 5 The Musical and can’t wait to take to the stage once again and showcase his talents.

Dream role: Donkey in Shrek

Here’s another of our talented cast…

Meet Beth Stroughair as Roz

Beth has been performing for around 7 years, taking on a wonderful variety of roles including Sandy in Grease, the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mary Lazarus in Sister Act, and most recently Grandma Addams in The Addams Family.

Her dream musical to star in would be Shrek the Musical, she could happily play any character on the bill, as she knows the entire show off by heart!

When she's not lighting up the stage, you'll find Beth on the football pitch. She's been playing for over 12 years and shows no signs of hanging up her boots any time soon.

Dream role: Another dream role is Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors.

Meet Tilly Broadhead as Roz

This is Tilly’s 4th show as a proud Wickersley Youngstars member, following her roles as a nun in Sister Act, a dancer in Rock of Ages, and a nun ancestor in The Addams Family.

9 to 5 marks her first principal role and she can’t wait to give Roz, a character full of fun and personality, everything she’s got.

Tilly also trains at Janet Michell School of Dance, is a member of Cast Productions, and recently appeared in Wickersley’s Beauty and the Beast panto.

Dream role: Karen Smith in Mean Girls - funny and bubbly, just like Tilly loves

Let's keep the introductions going...

Meet Joe Wood as Joe

Joe is making a return to Youngstars after starring in Footloose in 2019 - and yes, he’s playing… Joe!

Since joining the group in 2015, he’s taken on roles including Gavroche in Les Misérables, Oliver Twist, and Willard in Footloose.

After a break to study Psychology at university, his love for musical theatre is as strong as ever, and he’s so excited to be back on stage. Huge thanks from Joe to the production team, committee, and cast for the hard work going into making this show shine!

Dream role: Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors
