Rotherham Musical Theatre Company is on the hunt for a male‑presenting performer to join our cast of The Wizard of Oz, performing November 2026 at Rotherham Civic Theatre.

If you’ve got rhythm and a little bit of shine but are on search of a heart, we want to hear from you.

You must be over the age of 16 and have left school by November 2026 and also a 46" chest maximum due to costume restictions to apply.

🌈THE WIZARD OF OZ - Children's Auditions🌈

We are looking for children to take part in our production of The Wizard of Oz.

The production will be at the Rotherham Civic Theatre in November and we require children for ensemble roles.

Auditions are by video in the first instance and you should send a 1 minute singing audition video by 25th May on Whatsapp to 07971289397. Please state your child's full name, age and height.

If successful, the child will be invited to come to our information evening and face to face audition on 10th June.

Children must having a playing age of 5 to 11 and be under 4' 10" to audition.

We look forward to receiving your audition video by 25th May💙

✨RTSA - YOUTH THEATRE GROUP MEMBER AUDITIONS✨

We are searching for new, talented students to audition for a place in our highly-regarded youth theatre company.

We have just a few places up for grabs. If successful, you will become an RTSA student and join the cast for our forthcoming production of the fabulous Into the Woods.

Unfortunately, we don't have any places available for our junior section at this time, therefore we will only be looking for performers of any gender aged 13 and above.
