Created in partnership with ROAR, Life Act: The Experience celebrates the friendships, achievements, and performances Life Act has created within our community over the years. Through photographs, artworks, video installations, and documentary pieces, explore the story, impact, and spirit of Life Act.

Whether you’ve been part of the our journey or are discovering Life Act for the first time, this is an event not to be missed.

Today’s session was something a little different as we were joined by Theatre Maker Thea Barnes, who helped us explore some fantastic new skills in clowning and physical comedy.

Our Actors found themselves robbing banks, getting stuck in lifts, meeting on park benches and travelling around the space in the most absurd and comedic way possible!

Devised by LIFE ACT and filmed by Open House Pictures, ‘Give Me Space’ asks: what if the world met people where they are, instead of asking them to change?

☀️ What a summer it's been! ☀️

Earlier this year, we were thrilled to team up with the amazing crew at Open House Pictures to bring our latest dance and spoken word film, Give Me Space, to life. 💃🎥

Fast forward to July 2025, and we were beyond proud to see it debut at Northern Ballet’s Expressions Festival alongside so many other fantastic works!

And guess what? The film will be dropping on our website very soon – so keep your eyes peeled! 👀✨

But wait… there’s more! 🎉 You can catch us next performing Give Me Space LIVE at Rotherham Show on Sunday, 7th September @ 1:30 PM. Mark your calendars — you won’t want to miss it!

We had an absolutely fantastic time performing Love’s Complicated to the wonderful artists from Art Works today! After the show, we also had a chance to find out more about each artist’s own practice too.
