RESULTS INFORMATION
Day 1 is in the books.
The defending Juice Boy Cup champions, your Trailer Made Rotherham Rockets, started our league campaign in style with 2 wins in a row, as we defeated GB Silver Knights 6-4 and followed that up with a 4-3 overtime winner against Coventry Vikings.

In the cup we had mixed fortunes against the same sides. A 6-1 loss to the Vikings was countered by a 6-2 win against the Silver Knights.

Overall team scoring for the 4 games was as follows :

Ian Willoughby 10+1
Jake Hedley 6+6
Daniel Palfreyman 1+5 (3 games)

Our next game looks set to be early next week as we take on UK HOCKEY in cup group stage action

JUICE BOY CUP WINNERS !!

Your Trailer Made Rotherham Rockets are CBTL Juice Boy Cup Winners after our opponents in the final were disqualified from the league for a "breach of league rules".
It's maybe not how we wanted to claim a trophy, but a trophy is a trophy and we become 3 times JBC winners!

MATCH REPORT

A hat-trick from captain Ian Willoughby led the Trailer Made Rotherham Rockets to a 4-3 victory over Crowland Chiefs.

Rockets raced into a 2-0 first period lead with some Willoughby double. The second of these being a penalty shot.

Willoughby sealed his hat trick for 3-0, before Jake Hedley finished a breakaway in style for 4-0.

Chiefs captain Liam Rumsey cut the gap to 4-2 before the 2nd break.

Rumsey completed his own hat-trick but it wasn't enough as Rockets held out for a 4-3 win
