What an afternoon! We had a fantastic time at our Around the World Concert today at St Margaret's Parish Church and what a crowd you were. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support Thurcroft Welfare Band - your warmth and enthusiasm made it a truly special occasion.

From the opening note to the final chord, it was a joy to take you on a musical journey around the globe, and we hope you enjoyed every mile of it.

Coming up next - if you caught the bug and want to hear us again, join us at the Letwell Street Fayre on Saturday 4th July. We’d love to see you there!

The Band is yet again looking forward to the annual Durham Miner’s Gala on Saturday July 11th. We will not have the pomp and ceremony we had last year for the blessing of the new Thornley Banner, but we will be having a fantastic day! Thurcroft Welfare Band is looking for a cornet player to join our front row! We’re a friendly and welcoming band and would love to hear from anyone interested in becoming part of our team.
