Meet Bilal, he is the producer for the short film, Eleanor! 📸
•
“ I have always had a passion for film. Two of my most favourite movies during childhood were The Lion King and The Mask starring Jim Carrey. As I got older I realised my real passion is filmmaking, directing and producing. I joined Level 2 media and worked my way up to degree level which is now coming to an end after 7 years. I have made some amazing friends and started a production company called Eledyne Films. I am also a founder of OneVision Production. I can’t believe my time at RNN Group is coming to an end. It will be interesting to see where the future will take me with Eledyne Films and OneVision Production.”

Meet Andreas! He is the editor for the short film, Eleanor! 📸

“Having spent seven years on production sets, it was decided that the passion for TV and Film was more behind a camera than in front. Therefore, a change of location was required from London to Rotherham towards the task of completing a degree in Photography and Moving Image. During this time, many opportunities have been achieved, from forming a production company with the ambition to produce weddings, music productions, promotional video and real estate. Also, the implementation of a YouTube channel called ‘English Grave’ dedicated to historical locations including notable individuals with a story to be told. Finally, it seems strange that such a journey within the RNN Group is now coming to an end. However, the future within such a passionate career is clearly unmeasurable, and the thought that a production could be seen by many across the globe is a vision that is not only a dream but a reality.”

Meet Ryan! He is the sound designer for the short film, Eleanor! 📸

“Throughout the years I've made a variety of different styles of videos from Thrillers and Comedy's to Music video shoots and Automotive videography. With a passion for anything automotive, I have worked on my own cars in the past on many different levels, from mechanical, visual/cosmetic and now videography shoots for anyone who shares the same passions as me. Coupled with a love for music I enjoy shooting and editing a large variety of video types and love to get creative.”

Meet, Adam! They are the Director, Camera Operator & Scriptwriter for the short film, Eleanor! 📸

“My passion for being creative started at a young age, especially with film, as I grew up constantly watching films, which in turn inspired me to write and take up photography. When it came to the end of school and I was on the cliff edge of endless possibilities, I knew that my creative passion was the thing I needed to follow. So, after finishing with a GCSE in media and moving through college on a film course, I ended up continuing that passion with this degree and have grown my skills, my passion and the confidence in myself. Recently, I’ve also been working at Wentworth Woodhouse as a creative producer, which has allowed me to work in a professional setting creating a range of video content. Now, I am once again on that cliff edge of endless possibilities, but with so many creative possibilities in front of me.”

“I have spent many years capturing the world around me through a lens. My love of photography and cameras started at a young age, by using them as an escape and distraction from my anxiety and the stress of the outside world. Specialising in none-studio based genres, I enjoy capturing everything from the essence of family and pets to working with different companies to capture their variety of products for advertising purposes or even capturing the core elements of the said company through both headshots and images used to promote them as a whole.”

Meet Niamh! She is one of our amazing photography students who’s project is based around LGBTQ+ portraiture! 📸

“I have been interested in photography since a young age. I was given my first camera at the age of 11 and I pursued my photography further when I studied it as a GCSE. I then continued to study photography in college which then led me to university study. Over the years, I have been on an emotional rollercoaster of self-discovery in both my personal life and photographic career. Studying at University Centre Rotherham has opened my eyes to a range of opportunities which can help me develop my photography business. In the future, I aim to grow my business by specialising in LGBTQ+ photography and special occasions such as weddings and engagements.”

Meet Harrison! He is the Editor, Assistant Director and Camera Operator for the short film, The Patron of God! 📸

“I have been interested in filmmaking since I was a child. The practice has always fascinated me with the behind the scenes being more interesting than the actual film itself. This has progressed me onto my current filmmaking career with inspiration from Edgar Wright as well as the creation of my own production company, White Rabbit Films. The inspiration behind White Rabbit films is my family connection with magicians which had formed the logo of the rabbit in the top hat. I am proficient with camera operation and editing with a passion for directing.”

Meet James! He is the Director, Scriptwriter & Director of Photography for the short film, The Patron of God! 📸

“I am a videographer and cinematographer who has been a student of the arts for 5 years. My ambition to become a cinematographer started at a young age where I would always want to know how films were made or certain shots were created. Every film I have created has always pushed the limits of what I can do and has allowed me to continuously develop the films that I have made. My ambition is to become a cinematographer and go on to work within the film and TV industry. I have had a limited amount of time working on film sets and would like to continue to pursue working on films to further develop my media career.”
