This is almost like a made up story. I remember taking photos of these lovely deer at Blair Atholl a good number of years ago but this painting is not of that special place. It is very much made up so of course I had to add and take away bits. Now I do think it is finished. It is oil on canvas.

This was certainly a challenge. My daughter Adeline took the photo of one of her horses " Harry" and I thought he would fit nicely into a painting. I thought out different ideas for an autumnal scene , lots of changes but finally think I've got there .It is an oil on canvas.

This painting of Gight Castle has been in an old folder for quite a long time. It was only sort of half painted so I've a had to do quite a lot to try to improve it.
I saw the old ruined castle when I was a child and I had an old black and white photo of it.

I haven't put a painting on my page for ages but actually I am working on 7 just now . Some of them are a bit made up so I set them aside for a while just to see what I either have to add or take away. Here is one just finished, done in pastel which I find is the easiest medium for me .I haven't decided on a title yet but perhaps one if these could be suitable.
