After a very long quiet spell on this page, I finally have some new work to share! I have been trying to do a ‘daily doodle’ for a while and I’ve been loving it. Some of my doodles have turned into new designs for my pottery! These items are for sale for and can be found at Chris’ Art House in Romsey - details in the second photo.

I had a lovely trip to Wi******er in the sunshine recently to re-stock the area in the Visitor Information Centre I've re-stocked with some new folk art plates, platters, vases, mugs and hanging hearts. The centre has worked really hard recently to stock a wide variety of products made in Hampshire. There's a gorgeous selection of local food goodies, candles, soaps, lavender products, jewellery and of course handmade pottery! If you're not local to Wi******er, I have re-stocked my Etsy shop too (link in bio).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

These fab folk have been building their collection of 2Spots pottery and have been incredibly encouraging as I have practised my mug making!!! ‘Cheers’ and Happy Friday xx⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It feels a long time since it was the summer holidays but I'm still looking back at photos and dreaming of the sea! Today has been all about uploading some of my new pottery to my Etsy shop. I've felt a real sense of achievement that I've now got a good few items listed and I'm so pleased with my new pots - I've been working on them over the last few months and I've loved coming up with new ideas and designs - I'd love your feedback if you've got time to take a look (link in bio). Our family holidays usually involve our campervan Daisy and I felt inspired to create a few "Van Life" plates and took them on holiday so that they could enjoy the beach too!! I'm sure that there are lots of you out there who might recognise the beach in the photo: one of my favourite places!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I've always known these flowers as grape hyacinth but I have just recently found out that they are called Muscari - such a pretty name. They make really lovely prints in clay too!

This little vase was thrown on the wheel and I then carved in some facets before painting it with slip and rubbing back the colour when the pot was dry. It's turned out to be a really tactile vessel!
