Hi from a scorching Call Of The Wild Festival. The Hot One Two smashed their set as expected. Just off to catch Thieves Of Liberty and later Myke Gray.

Did anyone see Live From The Front Room last night?

What's that you say?

Well, for those that don't know, it's a live stream that's been running weekly since lockdown (remember that?)
It's now been running for over 325 weeks and its hosted by Neil Murdoch, lead singer of the band Blue Nation 💙

Why is this relevant?

Well, during last night's live stream, around 7.30pm, Neil announced that Blue Nation will be headlining Rochester Rocks Festival on March 20th 2027.

I had hoped to get them on the bill for this year but they weren't available on the date of the festival, so I told them that I wouldn't do another festival in 2027 unless they agreed to do it - no pressure 😉

I'll be posting loads of information about who Blue Nation are, their influences, accolades etc, but this morning while travelling up to Call Of The Wild to support this years headliner Myke Gray , all I will say is, please welcome your Rochester Rocks 2027 headliner

Earlybird tickets 🎟 are £35 + bf and these end on 31st May.
On June 1st the price rises to £38.50 + bf, still an absolute steal for a line up this good 👍 👏

An early morning bank holiday post.

7 of 8 bands on the main stage now announced.

The final band will be announced this week.

£35 Earlybird tickets 🎟 will finish on 1st June, then rise to £38.50, this will be the price ongoing until show day.

We still have to announce details of our Friday Night Acoustic Party 🥳 there are less than 20 tickets left for this.

£35 +bf is an unbelievable price for the 7 acts on this bill. No bands play for less than 40/45 mins, while some of the later bands get a 1hr slot like this year.

It's been a hot Bank Holiday weekend and the lineup for Rochester Rocks Festival just keeps getting hotter!

The next band to be added to the 20th March 2027 Rochester Rocks Festival is headlining the Red Room at The Facebar in Reading today at The Crazy Cowboy Festival.
I'd like to thank Gordon Kimber of Morningstar for his help with this.

This band are reasonably new with 1 EP under their belts and another on the way, but are all seasoned performers. Apostolos LF is gonna blow the roof off and make every band that follows bring their 'A' game!

**ANNOUNCEMENT **

It's 'only' 300 days until Rochester Rocks Festival according to Skiddle this morning and it's time for another announcement.

For this line-up, I've formed it in a similar way to the last, taking bands I've worked with before over the last 12 years and a couple new to me or who have been recommended.

For the next act I went right back to my roots. He and I go back more years than either of us remember.

We've worked together numerous times, both at Leos and Sittingbourne, as a support and a headliner.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the bill, Jack Hutchinson.

His involvement in Rochester Rocks is something we're both very excited by. Jack will be showcasing material from his new album and no doubt some firm fan favourites too.

I look forward to catching up with Jack at Loverocks Festival next month too.

Jack's appearance has been sponsored in part by superfan Nick Luxford who will be given the full VIP treatment at Rochester Rocks, with full access and hopefully chance to grab a few interviews and will be filming videos throughout the day, particularly the acoustic sessions.

The Rochester Rocks team thank Nick for his support for the festival and look forward to welcoming the Jack J Hutchinson band to the stage on March 20th 2027.
