If you’ve always wanted to try life drawing and been putting it off then maybe tonight you’ll come along.

There’s plenty of space. You can simply turn up (we start promptly at 7 so it’s best to arrive at least 10 mins early)

There’s never a right time to start something new. We don’t want beginners to feel daunted. We are a fun, friendly group of people of all ages and abilities.

Elizabeth is our model this week.

The weather is feeling a little warmer once more. I may need to bring the fans again!

If would like to come along you can book via the link in the bio or you can simply walk-in on the night.

We welcome all abilities. Doesn’t matter if it’s your very first life drawing session or if you’ve been drawing for years.

Poses range from 60 secs to 25 mins. We always say expect the unexpected we like to spice things up a little so it’s not the same routine week after week. And we also take into consideration the personality and strengths of each model. In other words each session is tailor made with a musical playlist that’s inspired by the model.

We love the variety of artist styles every week. Feel free to be yourself. Feel free to have a go at whatever inspires you. Feel free see a ‘mistake’ as an opportunity.

We are a fun, friendly, non-judgmental group and who inspire each other.

Basic materials and equipment supplied or BYO

PS We’ve recently ordered in a lot of brown paper which is proving very popular so if you’ve not used this before why not had a go this week.

Megan is a familiar face and we are delighted to have the opportunity to draw Megan once more.

Whether you’ve drawn Megan before or this will be your first time we hope you will take this time to focus on capturing what you see in front of you. There’s nothing else you need think about but that.

So switch off, relax, and simply enjoy being creative.

Everyone is welcome, no matter your level of experience.

Chloë • Art Model is joining us for the first time on Thursday 10th September

you can hone your skills with 60 sec, 3 min, 6 min and 12 min poses. Then after the coffee/tea break you can bring everything together in drawing a long pose.

we encourage you to experiment, play, have fun and be creatively free.

We shake it up a bit with lengths of poses so it’s not exactly the same week after week. The challenge is good for us - yes?

And similarly with models.

Variety is the spice of life. We bring you a different model each week. All ages. All sizes. The more of everything the better.

If you are fascinated by the human body and love to draw, then you will love The Rochester Draw.

Drawing from life is like no other drawing.

We are here every Thursday. 7-9pm.

We’d love you to join our community.

We’re thrilled to start the month with a familiar face - Chris is back to model for us, bringing his trademark professionalism and charm.

Chris will surely be pleased to model for us in September as on all previous occasions with us it has been bitterly cold.

It’s getting slightly cooler in the evenings now. Will I need the fans on Thursday? We’ll have to see!

Join us Thursday for a night of relaxation, focus, and fun, with great music and company.

After a short break in France we are home and are delighted to welcome back Arnie to

Arnie - - is a highly experienced and sought after professional Art model from London who has visited us every summer.

This session is not to be missed and booking is highly recommended and will guarantee you a seat.

There are a limited number of walk-in spaces on the night and it is recommended that you turn up early to find a place.
