Fancy learning how theatre lighting and sound work?

We’re looking at running a new **Introduction to Theatre Lighting & Sound** course over a few Saturday mornings at Curtain Theatre Rochdale

💡 Get hands-on with theatre lighting
🎚️ Learn the basics of a sound desk
🎤 Set up microphones and sound
🎨 Create different lighting looks
🎵 Learn how music and sound effects are used
🎭 Discover how a technical team runs a live show

**No previous experience needed!**

This is aimed at complete beginners who would like to learn more about the technical side of theatre — whether you’re interested in helping with future productions, developing a new skill, or simply curious about what goes on behind the scenes.

The final interrogation is over, the disguises have been confiscated, and Superintendent Curry can finally stop sweating. Accidental Death of an Anarchist has officially wrapped! 🗄️🔒

Before we permanently redact the paperwork, we have some official statements of gratitude to issue:

🕵️‍♂️ To our witnesses (The Audience): Thank you for turning up to the station in your droves, playing along with our cover-up, and filling the auditorium with so much laughter. Your alibis check out, and you are free to go.

🎭 To our suspects & officers (The Cast): For your relentless energy, brilliant comedic timing, and for surviving the absolute chaos of the fourth floor every single night.

🔦 To the forensics & evidence team (The Crew): The masterminds behind the scenes who built the station, kept the files flying, and shone a light on our highly questionable operation.

☕ To crowd control (Front of House): Our desk sergeants and station managers who welcomed the public, kept the queues moving, and served up the essential interval rations.

The evidence has been shredded, but the memories of this incredibly fun and riotous production will stick around for a long time.
