We're so proud of our Years 4-6 and 7-10 Youth Theatre groups who recently presented their annual shows. The feedback has been gorgeous!

We currently have spaces available in our Act to Shine Youth Theatre, a drama group for young people aged 8–18 who are neurodiverse or have a disability, delivered in partnership with Barnardo’s.

Here’s what some of our participants, parents and carers have shared about their experience with the group.

“Act To Shine is the one actively attended by my daughter that I can completely relax while she’s there; safe in the knowledge that all her needs are cared for. She really enjoys her time there and has made some lovely friends. She also feels very comfortable around the staff, who are incredible.”

Our Year 7-10 Youth Theatre group are performing their newly devised show Beyond the Wardrobe on Monday 18 & Tuesday 19 May.
In Beyond the Wardrobe, Milo must team up with Dream Keepers, outsmart shadowy villains, and find the courage to face his fears, in a story full of humour, heart, and imagination.

⭐ Introducing our cast for All the Small Things! ⭐ An enchanting new spin on fairytales for ages 4+ touring Autumn 2026 with a Christmas Residency at Cambridge Junction ❄

Katherine Vernez-Gray returns to M6 in the role of Story Collector after dazzling audiences as Mavis Sparkle a few years back.

Billy Barlow will be making his professional touring debut as The Traveller, with previous credits including Fool Me Once (Netflix) and performing at Oldham Coliseum and Hope Mill Theatre.

Join us for a very special afternoon exploring how creativity and the outdoors can enable children to explore the world and develop skills for the future.

(Please note that we intend to spend time outdoors even if it rains, so please bring layers of warm clothing, waterproofs and footwear suitable for muddy ground. If you have any specific access requirements please let us know when booking.)

There will be a tour of the outdoor learning environment at Sunny Brow, presentations from local cultural organisations and a practical art workshop delivered outdoors.

This event is for professionals who work with children in any setting including primary schools, nurseries and private childcare providers.

The session will take place at Sunny Brow Nursery in Middleton and will include time outdoors in their Forest School but we’ll also be sharing ideas for activities that you can deliver in settings with limited outdoor areas.
