The summer social night is booked for Monday 8th June at 7.30 pm. All past and present members family and friends are welcome.
As usual it will be a 'bring and share buffet' so please bring sweet or savoury dishes, snacks and drinks. There's always a great spread! We won't be having a bar but you are welcome to bring your own beer and wine etc.
Now to the fun part. The entertainment....which is as always ...drum roll...YOU!
So, if you're new to choir or haven't been to a social yet, this is where all the budding soloists, poetry reciters, duets, instrumentalists and folk singing groups - ( you know who you are) shake off the nerves (with the help of a glass or two) and step forward to entertain all with your 'turn' or party piece.
There are no rules. All genres are welcome. We have had verse, opera, musical theatre and folk in the past, all receiving rapturous applause. So, why not give it a go?
Robert will be there to accompany, as needed and help setting up and clearing away gratefully received.
And a final note, a donation towards the hall fees would be appreciated so that we can cover the cost of the evening.
