It's official, Beartha Kitt goes vinyl! I know, groan all you like, I don't care. Sewing vinyl has always been a struggle even with a teflon or walking foot. She gets through it like a dream. The swatch on the right is four layers of vinyl. All neatly sewn with no problems. There is even a function to enable reverse stitch! As I always suspected, the 60s was a good decade!

My new (secondhand) prezzie. It's probably a little older than myself, cost only £35 and so far I've managed to easily sew together four layers of faux leather!! Whoops whoop! (I really must get a life). I'm thinking of being even sadder and naming it. It's a Singer and a bit of a Grande Dame. I've thought of Elton. Any other suggestions will be considered 😂
