I love this piece for the way it has pulled itself apart revealing what is hidden below.

Like ourselves as we journey through life we change and adapt to what happens to us sometimes this is visible…sometimes it is hidden away. The porcelain in the centre of this sculpture has been stretched and pulled and then shrunk during the glaze firing where it finally reveals its hidden secrets..its other self.

From leather hard to bone dry to bisque fired to glazes and finished.

Glaze day…first piece’s done..these will be going to a wonderful pop up gallery/shop at The Bath House, RHS Harlow Carr.
This beautifully curated pop up will be open 1st August to 6th September and is well worth a visit.
