100 years of memories, shared by you.

From first tours to first shows, family traditions to lifelong friendships, this carousel is just a glimpse of what the Stiwt has meant to Rhos for a century. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories with us. Every single one made us smile (and a few made us tear up 🥹).

One hundred years ago, in September 1926, “A First Class Concert” of local talent opened the doors of the Stiwt for the first time, a place, as JT Edwards (then Chair of the Board of Trustees) put it, “of unity where the people of Rhos can meet regardless of position, creed, pay or faith.”

That spirit is exactly what we’re celebrating this September, with a brand new show telling the story of our first hundred years:
