A few photos from last year's Reigate Summer Festival, picked at random from the 3,000+ images I took, just to get everyone in the mood!
As we like to say: "No Reigatians, No Party!"
The last two years have been an incredible journey; hard work, certainly, but also hugely rewarding. More than anything, we've seen our community come together and create something truly special.
From the NMN perspective, we deliver three stages, all run entirely by volunteers, showcasing an amazing range of musical talent. From young performers like Zane, who was absolutely shredding his guitar like Hendrix last year, to seasoned professional bands and everything in between, the quality never ceases to amaze us.
For many students, particularly those from Reigate College, this is their first opportunity to perform on a professional stage in front of a large crowd. It's a safe and supportive environment that gives them invaluable real-world experience. Every year I'm blown away not only by the exceptional standard of performance, but also by the confidence, professionalism, and maturity shown by these young musicians. I certainly wouldn't have had that level of confidence at their age!
We're also passionate about supporting original music, and our experienced NMN artists never disappoint. The variety of genres on display is fantastic, and we're incredibly grateful to every performer who generously gives their time to be part of the festival. The sheer amount of talent we have in our local area is remarkable.
While the festival is completely free to attend, events like this are only successful because of the support they receive. Countless volunteers, organisers, sponsors, performers, and local businesses work behind the scenes to make it happen for the benefit of the entire community; so much team work goes into this event.
So, a huge thank you to everyone involved, your all truley amazing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. If you can, please come along and support the festival; come join the PARTY. There really is something for everyone, your support helps ensure these community events continue to thrive for years to come.
Don't forget to cheer "No Reigatians, No Party", but please leave the traffic cones where they are!
