It was wonderful to listen to Jolyon Drury discuss his father Paul Drury’s etchings and his friendship with Graham Sutherland. The interview is part of the film : Revelation to Revolution. The life and art of Paul Drury.
The film is now playing in the gallery alongside a small exhibition of Drury’s etchings as well as works by Sutherland and also Samuel Palmer who was a huge inspiration for Drury, Sutherland and the fabled ‘Class of 21’ at Goldsmiths’.
You can also go to our Linktree bio and see the film on YouTube.

One-to-one etching workshops with artist and printmaker Mai Osawa are now available.

An excellent gift for yourself or someone special.

Using zinc plates, you will explore both line and tonal work and more painterly effects through lift-etching techniques. Suitable for beginners and experienced etchers alike, the workshop uses non-toxic B.I.G ground (Andrew Baldwin’s Etching Ground) and copper sulphate etching, allowing us to work in a safer environment.

Dates are flexible to suit your schedule. £195.00.
Booking via link-tree in our bio.

We’re now in the final week of our Pop Art exhibition — a rare chance to view exceptional works by some of the 20th century’s most iconic artists. Visitors are often surprised by the breadth and depth of pieces representing this influential period in art history.

Exhibition closes next Sunday

Some of the works still available include this incredible original drawing by Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol Untitled (Woman with Sunglasses) Graphite on wove paper 1962 60.6 x 45.7 cm Annotated ‘C-808.2’ in pencil on the reverse Framed Andy Warhol’s ‘Untitled (Woman with Sunglasses)’ is a compelling graphite drawing from 1962 that highlights the artist’s sharp observational style during his mid-career. Drawn on wove paper and measuring 60.6 x 45.7 cm, the work captures a poised figure and uses subtle lines to present them as glamorous and alluring, reflecting Warhol’s early fascination with celebrity and identity. Framed and annotated “C-808.2” in pencil on the reverse, this drawing stands as a rare and intimate example of Warhol’s hand-drawn practice prior to his transition into silkscreen print production. The piece exemplifies his ability to capture an audience and offers an early glimpse into the themes that would define his iconic Pop Art. £18,500

Eduardo Paolozzi Pop Art Redefined - Lots of Pictures - Lots of Fun, 1971 Screenprint • Signed • 76cm x 55.5cm £1250 Signed, dated and numbered original screenprint. From the edition of 1000. Commissioned as a cover design by Studio International magazine October 1971 issue, is a ‘state of play’ commentary on the American Pop Art movement, referencing the work of Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein and others in the artwork.
