🟢 CALLING ALL FAIRYTALE CREATURES… OUR SHREK JOURNEY BEGINS! 🟢

We’re so excited to officially announce the date for our SHREK THE MUSICAL Launch Night! 💚

📅 Monday 14th September
📍 RAOST HQ, Old Sunday School, Plain and Gwarry, Redruth, TR15 1HU

The evening will begin with our Society AGM at 7:30pm, and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible. Come along, hear what’s happening within the society, and then stick around as we head straight into the swamp!

Join us as we officially kick off our journey to the Hall for Cornwall in July 2027!

On the night, we’ll be sharing more about the production, including those all-important audition dates and information, and giving you everything you need to know about getting involved.

And there’s plenty more to come before then… 👀

Two months of rehearsals down, and just over two months until show time! 🤘

Here’s a look back at the rehearsals so far. So much fun has been had, and everyone is working so hard to perfect the choreography and the harmonies - it’s going to be one epic show! 🌟

We are so proud of everyone involved with this production. Our cast is made up of a mix of experienced dancers and people who have never danced before - and everyone is throwing themselves into the choreography! 🌟

As Helen Hartshorne says to the cast ‘trust the process’, and there’s nothing better than seeing the delight when her choreography comes together exactly as she hoped! ✨

Helen, along with Jack and the We Will Rock You cast, is working extremely hard to get this show ready for the stage and so much progress has been made already! 🌟

We have loved sharing some behind the scenes of the rehearsals so far! 🤘

This is a stellar cast, led by Director and Choreographer Helen Hartshorne (who is also in the production as Beulah and others), and Musical Director Steve Hill!

After a much needed holiday, Helen Hartshorne is back with a bang! 🔥

This evening’s rehearsal included the beginning of the setting process for A Kind of Magic, and doesn’t it look great! We didn’t want to give it all away, so here’s just a sneak peek 👀

Accompanied with insane vocals by our Killer Queen and Khashoggi, played by Roxanne Dash and Paul Dash, we cannot wait to see how this number grows ✨

Here’s a look back at the Come From Away cast rehearsing ‘Prayer’ at their final rehearsal before the Minack Theatre run in May! 💙💛

This song is led by Paul Dash who plays Kevin T - and today just so happens to be Paul’s birthday! ✨

You may have seen Paul in roles such as Judas and Buddy the Elf, and you can catch him back on stage as Khashoggi in We Will Rock You in November! 🤘

And then of course, Paul is reprising his role of Kevin T when Come From Away heads to the Regal Theatre in February 2027!
