Dear all. If you find yourself free at 4pm today (Sunday 19th), do pop into The Star, Dorking for a refreshing beverage. I will be playing tunes from a very mixed bag including Vangelis, The Cinematic Orchestra, 4Hero, Glass Beams, Rae & Christian and Khruangbin before we settle into and finish my hour with a more familiar salute to a range of funkateers. Dear all (and in particular my Reigate friends). I am DJing tomorrow. (Saturday 10th) at The Red Cross from 10pm till midnight & there will be DJ’s from 7pm-1am so some good tunes all night. I was thinking of doing an on-session for any drama students (I'm guessing aged 13 plus) although anyone would be welcome about Male & Edek. I would talk through why I wrote it, read a couple of sections, talk a little about Holocaust denial and other themes and what some of the challenges were getting this ready for Edinburgh, where we had 10 mins to set up and 5 mins to strike. Please let me know if anyone is interested and I'll sort out a date, time and link. It will be as interactive as possible so people won't just have to hear me drone on and I hope to get some visuals on the go as well.
