Founded in 2004, YESOS was the youth section of the adult company East Surrey Operatic Society. Having merged with the Opera Club of Reigate and Redhill, the society's name was changed to ESPA (East Surrey Performing Arts) and so, as the youth section, YESOS became YESPA. We rehearse and perform a fully staged musical during the school summer holidays, where our performers receive c. 60 hours of i
ntensive musical theatre training. We also offer an annual calendar of acting, singing and dancing Weekend Workshops. These stand-alone events are designed to aid and develop performing arts skills useful to our productions, but also to be utilised in any performing situations our youngsters may find themselves. Our team is lead by a professional director and professional musical director and assisted by other experienced and talented members of ESPA. Our shows are also aided in production by professionals in the field of sound, lighting design, stage management and a professional orchestra to ensure our young performers get the highest possible standard of life in the theatre. https://www.yespa.org.uk/
