Road Closure Notice

Due to the London to Brighton event, there will be road closures in the area on Sunday 21st June.

We’re open as normal, but access to us will be via Cormongers Lane. Please follow the posted diversion signs to reach us safely.

Safety is always our primary concern at the lake.

If you would like to hire our equipment or launch your own please READ THESE RULES, BOOK IN ADVANCE and HAVE A GREAT TIME

The minimum ages for all activities on the lake is 8 years old
(the one exception is our Intro to Sailing course where 6&7yr olds are taken onto the lake by an experienced instructor in a controlled environment)

🏞 Mercers Park is private property where public access is allowed subject to the public following a short list of very reasonable rules. Please help us keep access open by following these rules.

🟢 Do:
✅️ Treat the park and each other with respect
✅️ Keep to the footpath
✅️ Take your litter home with you
✅️ Keep dogs on a lead around the watersport centre
✅️ Only park in the car park
✅️ Enjoy yourselves

🔴 Do NOT:
❌️ Approach the lake edge
❌️ Enter the lake
❌️ Have gatherings around the lake edge
❌️ Fish
❌️ Fly drones
❌️ Disturb the wildlife
❌️ Behave in an antisocial or abusive manner
❌️ Park along the drive way or block entrances

If you see suspicious or illegal behavior please notify the office or call 101 if appropriate to notify the police.
