It's time!
The push yourself painting competition is coming!
We've been asked so much about this one, and we have a beautiful sculpt from to use. A 75mm scale bust
Now this competition is for the more advanced painters with a bit more experience. ( We will have another standard painting competition very soon so don't worry if you are still learning, you will get the opportunity)
For this the themes are skin tones and lighting.
So it doesn't matter the colour of the skin, but we want to see skilled painting. Same as lighting. Really think about light placement and keep to it.
This is what we're looking for. Lots of details.
Remember that's the key skills we are judging on.
But remember it really is about pushing yourself. Many people said that skin tones and lighting was something they struggle with. So this is the opportunity to learn a new skill.

It will be a £10 deposit on the sculpture, which will be returned when the bust is handed in.
This one is for more competent painters. People who are looking at honing there skills.
Collection from store from Saturday onwards but we have a very limited supply, so first come first served.
Saying that. You have to collect the bust yourself, multiples for friends or family will not be allowed.
Please follow the brief. Skin tones and lighting that's the skill we want to see people trying/doing.
Judging will take place on the 3rd of October and results will be released on the 10th October.
There will also be community judging separately. But me and Ash will have the final say.
Unfortunately this time no prizes. But you do get bragging rights 😂.
