Just look at that smile! The joy and confidence radiating from our Drama Star last week says it all.

This is one of our favourite awards to give out each week because they've shown something truly worthy of recognition it might not even be related to the theatre group, and we believe their achievements deserve to be celebrated.

We hope this award reminds them how brightly they shine, both on and off the stage, and that they carry that feeling of pride with them long after the applause has ended.

Annndd the superstars are back!

Rehearsals are officially in full swing & what a choctastic session we had this evening!

We focused on detailed scene blocking for our upcoming production of Charley & The Chocolate Factory 🍫🏭

The children have been working with real dedication and enthusiasm throughout it all, and it’s been a joy to see their confidence grow as they develop their characters and bring the story to life on stage.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work so far and cannot wait to share the final performance with you all. 🌟👏

Ooo… it’s been very quiet and slightly eerie over here tonight 🥴

No chaos. No ‘just one more dance’. No random chats, giggles, smiles, or the ‘please can we do it one more time?’ 🥹

The 5pm-6pm felt far too calm without you all keeping us on our toes!

So to fill the very strange silence, we’ve sat in the sunshine with a cold beverage… but honestly, we already miss the madness more than we’d like to admit 🫣☀️🍹

How was your bank holiday weekend? A hot one, right?
Just jumping on to shine a spotlight on last week’s drama star. We began learning the lines as a group for our summer show, The Factory 🍫🏭

Our drama star last week did an amazing job with her line reading!

Just a quick note to say there is no theatre group this week, but we’ll be back next week!

From quiet first sessions to full-on performances, inside jokes and a lot more confidence. Theatre has a funny way of bringing kids out of their shell, one week they’re unsure, the next they’re leading a scene and laughing with new friends.

At Advance Theatre Group it’s simple: learn skills, build confidence, be part of a team, and actually enjoy it while you’re doing it and watching them find their people along the way is the best bit.
