🍄✨ Four Magical Forest Wanderers Are Heading to Norwich! ✨🍂

There's a little flutter of excitement in the Magical Forest today, as four rather enchanting Bruin Magic bears have packed their belongings and are preparing for a new adventure!

Tomorrow, Friday 16th October, these four woodland characters will be arriving at The Bear Shop, Norwich, each hoping to find a very special forever home. 🧸💚

🍃 Fiddlefern Mosswhistle – Tender of the secret fairy gardens, collecting enchanted wildflowers and sprinkling fairy dust wherever the woodland has forgotten how to bloom.

🍓 Bumblewort Brambleberry – Gatherer of ruby-red berries, carefully bottling their magical sweetness to bring warmth and happiness to those in need.

🌙 Thistlewick Moonwhisper – Collector of enchanted berries and fragments of moonlight, bottling a little comfort, courage and woodland magic.

🍂 Bramblewick Acornwhistle – Wanderer of winding woodland paths, whisperer to ancient trees and ringer of a tiny silver bell whenever a little magic is needed.

✨ Each bear is lovingly handcrafted from beautiful mohair and stands approximately 10 inches tall.

All four are unique little personalities, bringing their own touch of Bruin Magic from the Magical Forest.

🏡 Could one of these enchanting woodland wanderers be waiting for you?

🍂🐻 Remembering My Grandad – Frederick John Hannay 🐻🍂

Today, 12th October, would have been my wonderful Grandad's 106th birthday. ❤️

My Grandad has always been a very special part of my creative journey. He was the inspiration behind Basil, our much-loved woodland character of Bruin Magic, and it is his name, Frederick John Hannay, that lives on through my original bear-making name, F.J. Hannay Bears.

Although he is no longer here, a little piece of him lives on in every bear I create, every story I tell, and every sprinkle of magic that finds its way into the Magical Forest.

Happy heavenly 106th birthday, Grandad. ❤️

Your memory, your name and your magic live on. 🍄✨🐻

🍄✨ A Little Woodland Magic is Heading to The Bear Shop, Norwich! ✨🍄

Meet Pippinwort Mossberry, a rather enchanting little fellow from the Bruin Magic Magical Forest! 🌿🍂

Pippinwort spends his days wandering the mossy woodland paths, gathering curious treasures, forgotten berries and little sprigs of magic to tuck into his collection. He is especially fond of quiet afternoons beneath the old oak trees, where he listens to the whispers of the forest and dreams up his next adventure. 🍄and hedgehogs, he loves hedgehogs 🦔✨️🌿

Lovingly created in beautiful dusky rose mohair, Pippinwort stands 10 inches tall, wearing his wonderfully whimsical woodland hat and cosy autumnal cloak.

🍁 Pippinwort will be arriving at The Bear Shop, Norwich, tomorrow (Friday 9th October)!

He's hoping to find a very special someone who will offer him his forever home. 🏡💕

✨ My biggest challenge to date… completed! ✨
I can finally share this very special commission, and I think it’s fair to say it pushed me further outside my comfort zone than anything I’ve made before! 😅
A completely handmade Oakwyrm motorbike, created from scratch, complete with its woodland base, tiny details and, of course, its Bruin Magic rider, Bramblewick Throttlethorn 🏍️🌿🐻
It has been a huge challenge, a real labour of love, and something completely different for me, but seeing the finished piece makes all those hours of figuring things out worthwhile.
I think this might be one of those creations I’ll remember for a very long time. ❤️
The biggest challenge Bruin Magic has taken on so far… and we did it! ✨🌿🏍️

🎩✨ Two Mad Hatters are on their way to Norwich… ✨🎩
Straight from the Magical Forest, two rather eccentric gentlemen have packed their pocket watches, straightened their hats (well… sort of) and are making their way to The Bear Shop, Norwich, where they’ll be arriving tomorrow!
Meet Puckleberry Brackenfizz and Muddlewort Butterwhim, two one-of-a-kind Mad Hatters by Bruin Magic. 🌿🍄✨
Puckleberry is the wonderfully eccentric sort who is forever consulting his misplaced watch, gathering moonlit treasures and arriving precisely when he means to.
Muddlewort, meanwhile, spends his days brewing peculiar teas, rearranging the teacups and forgetting entirely why he put the kettle on in the first place. He firmly believes a little nonsense makes everything better. ☕🎩
Both have been completely handmade here in the Bruin Magic studio, from their wonderfully expressive faces right down to their extravagant handmade hats and tiny details.
And tomorrow, they’ll be taking up residence at The Bear Shop in Norwich, waiting to see who might take them home. 💜 Contact The Bear Shop 01603 766866 for more details ✨️

A rather exciting delivery arrived at the Bruin Magic workshop today... ✨

These little stainless steel balls may not look very magical, but they're one of the secret ingredients that help bring my bears to life. Nestled carefully inside my 5", 6" and 8" bears, they give each one a lovely reassuring weight, making them feel wonderfully comforting when held.

It's always the little details that make the biggest difference. Every bear is thoughtfully created, from choosing the fabric right through to adding that perfect finishing weight before they're ready to begin their journey to a forever home.

Now... I'd better get back to the sewing table. There are some magical forest residents waiting to be brought to life. 🐻✨
