It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet lots of new ones too 🥰

☀️ Just a little summer reminder… 🎨✨

The warmer months are always one of the busiest times of year for Swheater Facepaint & Braids 💖

Between festivals, school events, birthday parties, family fun days, weddings, holiday braids, glitter bookings, and summer celebrations, the diary fills much quicker this time of year 👀✨

I’ll also be taking a full week off for family holidays from Sunday 16th August until Friday 21st August ☀️💜
During this time, I’ll be fully logged out of my business accounts, won’t be receiving notifications, and won’t be actively replying to messages or booking appointments.

Then it’s straight into an exciting weekend at Between the Tides Festival on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August at Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds 🎨🌊✨

If you’re thinking about booking for a party or event over the summer, it’s always best to start planning ahead where possible 🥰

🎨 The part people don’t always see… 👀✨

Behind every party, event, braid appointment, and glitter setup is a whole lot of behind-the-scenes prep 💜

Cleaning brushes.
Washing sponges.
Sanitising kits.
Restocking paint.
Refilling glitter.
Untangling braid hair.
Packing for events.
Answering messages late at night 😅

The actual event is only part of the job — there’s so much that happens before and after to keep everything clean, safe, organised, and ready to go ✨

But honestly? Seeing the smiles at the end always makes it worth it 🥰🎨

Sadly, due to the unpredictable weather and the likelihood of rain, this weekends event has had to be postponed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attending.

After a lot of discussions we have sadly decided to postpone Saturday's event until we get the sunshine back. The weather is so windy and forecast rain all day Saturday we are so sorry and so very upset but we can not risk it yet again we have no option but to cancel. Please keep watching for a new event date and again we are really sorry but we can't hang on waiting for it to change and have all you stall holders let down very last minit. Please understand because its outside events we need to make sure it's compleatly safe and dry for you all. We will arrange another day ASAP. Please support us still we are really upset to have to do this. We will be running right through summer holidays every other week all welcome to come. 💜🙏
