I am truly passionate about baking and about designing cakes. I have spent a long time developing skills, and I am confident that all my customers will be delighted with their Delicious Design. All the cakes are made freshly to order, are unique and encourage me to keep learning - and I do so love a challenge. I have also spent time considering what I use to make my cakes, and perfecting recipes.

So if at all possible I use fairtrade, free range and other ethically produced supplies. I am also registered with Wokingham Borough, fully insured and hold the required food hygine qualifications. I have now moved to Three Mile Cross, Reading, and finally have a kitchen that I am happy to be in. This is rather helpful as each cake is a labour of love - well it has to be, as they take anything between 4 hours and 2 days to make. Next in addition to Birthday, Celebration and other cakes I will be building my Wedding cake portfolio, so watch this space... and like my page for regular updates.

This is possibly one of my more ambitious projects, it was certainly complex to execute, but I think it turned out rather well especially considering the heat.

The top is made from Rice Krispie Treats and the bottom is a vanilla sponge

You may all have noticed that there are fewer cakes being posted. This is because I have decided to scale back my cake exploits to the very occasional cake since starting an exciting but very challenging job last September.
Whilst I will not take many orders, the plan is that those I do take on, will be both challenging and fun to make

This weeks Lego Batman cake certainly fulfils that requirement...it is a 10" chocolate fudge cake with a hand made Batmobile on top.
