The Sainsbury Singers We’re the longest running musical theatre group in Reading! Named after our founder, Frank Sainsbury. Newcomers are always welcome.

We've been performing shows since 1939 and offer a strong programme of two productions a year in The Hexagon Theatre, Reading and other venues. Our roots lie in music and it remains at the heart of our activities, whether producing musicals, performing in concerts or carol singing at Christmas. Get Involved: Above all though we are a friendly, inclusive group that enjoys singing, dancing, acting and socialising together.

We’d love to welcome new and familiar faces to our Come From Away Welcome Night — a chance to meet the company, hear more about the show, and see how you can get involved in this uplifting and powerful musical.

Huge thank you to everyone who made this production so special; from the incredible cast and creatives on stage, to the tireless crew and team working their magic off stage, and of course to the amazing audiences who showed up with so much love and energy every night.

Your support, encouragement, laughter and applause meant everything. What an unforgettable journey this has been!

✨💖A huge thank you to the incredible backstage heroes of Legally Blonde the Musical.

While the cast get six months of preparation, you somehow make miracles happen in about a week and only get access to the set and theatre space three days before opening night.

From tech to crew to all the unseen magic‑makers, you kept everything running smoothly and made the impossible look effortless.

We truly would have been lost and stumbling in the dark without you. This show shone as brightly as it did because of your skill, dedication, and teamwork.
