We’re thrilled to have XOX Project included in “Ultimate Guide: 909 Day 2026” from the manufacturer of these iconic synths and drum machines Roland, ahead of our XOX Studio launch this Wednesday (9th September).

This Wednesday (9th September) is 909 Day for vintage synth and drum machine enthusiasts, which is the day Readipop, in collaboration with Roland, officially launch our XOX Studio!

Here's a great feature from Reading Today talking about our the XOX Studio and how it is helping us to keep electronic music heritage alive through our work with young people.

After the huge success of XOX 2026 at Oakford Social Club in June, we're thrilled to be returning on Thursday 24th September for XOX LIVE with a stacked line-up of talented Electronic Music artists performing with live visuals.

Headlining will be ZAR, an artist who has been tipped by DJ Mag as an "exciting prospect in the sphere of electronic composition" and featured across Bandcamp’s Best Electronic lists for releases like Unfurl and Light Stain At Dawn. His exploratory sound blends starry, South Asian-influenced sonics with heavy dance floor beats across his DJ and live sets.

Zar has performed at Glastonbury, Warehouse Project and Wide Awake Festival plus this summer, he played live at Secretsundaze presents Multi Multi festival in Hackney Wick. It’s safe to say we are seriously excited to have him join us for a full live set on 24th September.

Also performing, we have excellent READING EMOM alumni in the form of SEBASTIAN REYNOLDS, OBRASENDUB & ANDUNA J plus MINDSPIKES who plays her debut XOX indoor set for us after joining us outdoors at the Readipop XOX Showcase at Down At The Abbey on Friday 11th September!

The night kicks off at 7pm and the five live acts perform between 7.30-11pm. After that we’ll have Readipop Live's Pete Wheeler (Pulse/Cubed/Twin Sun) delving into his favourite electronic tracks with a DJ set until 1am…expect Aphex Twin, Orbital, Bicep and many more!

Big news for our Electronic Music community, we have six events coming up this Autumn and applications to perform at them are open now!

Following on from the success of Readipop presents XOX 2026 last month, we are hosting two XOX LIVE events at The Oakford Social Club on Thursday 24th September & Thursday 26th November. Expect energetic sets from experienced EMOM acts both local and from further afield followed by XOX DJs.

RG EMOM returns to South Street Arts Centre on Thursday 29th October and Thursday 10th October, keeping its original format and welcoming all electronic music artists across genres to apply.

New for Autumn 2026, we will be launching XOX CAFE at Readipop Studios (Trafford Road, Reading). Taking place between 2-5pm on Sunday 11th October and Sunday 8th November, XOX CAFE is a music technology meet-up featuring short performance slots (ideal for EMOM newcomers or experimental acts). There will be gear demos/talks, jam sessions and a chance to get hands on with our XOX vintage synths, beatboxes and FX - a great opportunity to chat with like minded synth-heads over a cuppa.

Spryt Electra is the moniker of Welsh artist Simon Prytherch who will play the opening live set at XOX 2026 this Saturday (13th June). He says he developed an unhealthy obsession with analogue synthesizers at 13, sacrificing a year of soggy paper rounds to acquire a Korg 700S — a purchase that almost certainly triggered a family intervention. After John Peel airplay in the 80s, iconic rave-club flyers and VJing for thousands in the 90s, followed by 30 years in video games, a spell in Berlin gave birth to a return to writing music and Spryt Electra — DAWless, unique, and with absolutely no laptop safety net.

His new progressive house single “Thats The Way” came out on 15th April. Simon is also co-founder of Thames Valley Emom, because apparently one project wasn't enough. He recently performed in front of Ritchie Hawtin (Plastikman) at SUPERBOOTH26 and we are incredibly excited for his set at XOX 2026 in this Saturday.
