We are so excited to be launching another Musical theatre/ Jazz class here at NC Dance!

Musical theatre is a vibrant and engaging blend of singing, dancing and acting. Your children will learn songs and routines from renowned musicals such as Frozen, The Lion King, Wicked and so many more! Our MT class aims to build confidence in your child, enhance creativity, develop communication skills all whilst having fun!

Our next wonderful teacher to introduce you all to is: Miss Courtney 🫶🏽

Miss Courtney will be running all of our Friday sessions!

Courtney has been dancing for 20 years now and was lucky enough to train professionally for three years at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, where she studied Musical Theatre. Over the years, she developed a love for teaching a wide range of styles including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Commercial, and Theatre.

Dance has always been a huge part of her life, and she’s very passionate about sharing that love with the next generation of performers. She is very excited to start in September, get to know all of the students at NC Dance properly and officially begin classes!

As Miss Naomi heads on maternity leave soon you are probably wanting to know a bit more about our wonderful teachers who will be covering our classes! Introducing our first teacher: Miss Immie 💜

Miss Immie will be taking over our Monday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions!

Immie has been teaching since she was 16 years old, although her journey in dance and musical theatre began when she was just 3. She trained in both ISTD and IDTA syllabi, completing examinations throughout her training and gaining valuable performance experience in some of London’s most prestigious venues, including the O2 Arena, Sadler’s Wells, and the London Palladium. Dance and musical theatre have always been a huge passion of her’s, and that passion continues to grow. Now, at 24 years old, she is thrilled to be pursuing her career as a teacher and she can’t wait to bring her experience, energy, and love of dance to NC Dance!

We did it!! 💜

Where do I even begin! What an incredible day today watching my students perform on stage! You all shone so bright and I can’t even put into words how proud I am of you all!

My heart is so full and I am so thankful for the dance family that we have! I always dreamed of having my own dance school when I was a little girl! From starting with only 2 students in 2018 to where we are now is incredible and I’m truly thankful!

A massive thank you to our wonderful Miss Amari for her incredible work with our Saturday students! They were amazing on stage and they absolutely adore you! We would be truly lost without you! You are an incredible teacher! 🫶🏽

A big thank you to our chaperones who helped keep our students safe and always made sure they were in costumes ready to go and never complained once! We truly could not run a show like this without you! You are stars! ✨

Thank you To my mum and fiancé Liam for their constant support throughout this whole process!! They are always there to encourage me and support me and remind me how far I’ve come! 🥰

NC Dance isn’t about being the biggest and best school out there, it’s about building a fun, supportive community for children who just love to dance.. and I think we’ve done that 💜💜
