2 Heavy Productions We nurture talent in those who have never tried theatre before The worshops start at 6.30pm and last a couple of hours.

2 Heavy Productions is a Reading based theatre company which is all about creating multicultural theatre that is accessible to new audiences, either through community based projects or professional productions. The community projects allow us to give young people a chance on stage, providing them with the opportunity to acquire new skills, gain confidence and ultimately become accomplished actors

with a view to stepping up to the professional productions. We hold workshops for young people every Tuesday evening at the Mapp Centre (Mount Pleasant, just up from Silver Street, Reading).

'RACE' has an all-star cast including British actor Chris Tummings. Chris, who plays Henny Brown in the production, has been acting for the past 27yrs and has starred in a several films including, Water which featured Michael Caine and Billy Connolly and a number of television programmes such as Desmond's, Get Up, Stand Up and No Problem, which was a collaboration with London Weekend Television and The Black Theatre Co-operative (BTC). Most recently he has appeared in Doctors, Holby City, The Bill and the West End production of the Lawrence Olivier nominated musical The Big Life at the Apollo Theatre Piccadilly.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support 2 Heavy Productions over the past week..
