Mostly G&S was founded in 2009 to create a group devoted 'mostly' to the works of Gilbert and Sullivan.

Sad news, Tim Curry has passed away at the age of 80. Whilst best known by most musical lovers for The Rocky Horror Show, he also played the Pirate King in the 1982 West End production of The Pirates of Penzance at Drury Lane which earned him a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a musical.

Jane as Dame Carruthers in Woodley Light Operatic Society's 2004 production of Yeomen. Jane went on to play Carruthers again in Mostly's 2010 performance.

Jess as Phoebe in Mostly's 2018 performance of Yeomen. Jess will be back on stage with us in November singing the role of Elsie.

Jeff played Colonel Fairfax in Reading Operatic Society's 2000 production of Yeomen. He then went on to sing the role of Sergeant Meryll in Mostly's 2010 performance and Fairfax in Mostly's 2018 performance. Having been Musical Director for our recent performance, Jeff will be back on stage with us in November again and singing the role of Sergeant Meryll.

Steve as Colonel Fairfax in Bourne End Amateur Operatic Society's 2006 production of Yeomen. Steve played the role of Fairfax again in Mostly's 2010 performance and is reprising the role again in our forthcoming production!

Barrie performed the role of Sergeant Meryll twice in Reading Operatic Society's productions of Yeomen in 1991 and 2000. Since then he has sung 2nd Yeoman and Leonard in Mostly's 2010 performance and was Musical Director (and sung Leonard) for Mostly's 2018 performance. We are delighted that Barrie is joining us on stage again for our current production!
