Founded in April 2003, Goring Unplugged is a much-loved, totally unplugged music night in the heart of the beautiful Goring Gap in South Oxfordshire.

Founded by Chris, Mark & Howard in April 2003, Goring Unplugged is a much-loved, totally unplugged music night in the heart of the beautiful Goring Gap in South Oxfordshire. We currently run Unplugged every couple of months. We love to encourage local talent (young and old!) to play as well as more established acts such as Amy's Ghost and Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span). Goring Unplugged is not a Folk

Club, Jazz Club, Blues Club, or any club that defines the style of music performed. It's an aything goes musical event. It's also a totally non profit-making event. Admission to non-performers is £3 per person. This is to cover the costs of hiring the Hall, lighting, and decorations, and we are licensed to allow you to bring your own drinks (there is no bar).

GORING UNPLUGGED XMAS EXTRAVAGANZA!
FRIDAY 19th DEC | £5 on door | Doors 7.30, music 8 pm.

Goring has some time-honoured Christmas traditions: late-night shopping in the rain! Torchlight procession in the wind! And the Goring Unplugged Christmas extravaganza in the village hall!

Yes, it’s this Friday 19th December. We’ve got an ‘all-stars’ line-up including Heather Jayne & the Red Shoes and The Mysteries. Plus our regular festive appearance from Simon & Ellie, and Harlequin!

Join us! Your usual £5 entry includes a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine. Though as ever, wear your xmas jumpers, bring your own food, drink, glasses and bottle openers :-)
