r young people have the opportunity to work with award winning directors and playwrights, see our work at a discounted rate and be a part of a young and vibrant organisation. For young people who want to pursue a career in the performing arts, there is a clear pathway to join Reading Studio – a full time Further Education performing arts provision jointly run by Reading Rep and Reading College. Reading Rep Youth Theatre is an inclusive company – we offer concession rates and bursaries; ensuring equality of access for all. Money will never be a barrier to participation. Reading Rep has been shortlisted and won awards for their work with children and young people, including being shortlisted for the 2017 Reading Place of Culture Award for Best Education Project and being a finalist for the Young Talent Award. Reading Rep won the Cultural Award – Support for Young People in the Arts at the Pride of Reading Awards in 2016. We offer classes for those aged 7-21 as well as our specialist 20/20 sessions for 14-19 year olds who identify as having a learning disability or additional need, and LAMDA classes.
