***RAFFLE £1 PER TICKET***

Come along to the fete on Saturday 12th September and buy some raffle tickets! All proceeds will go to improving our village hall.

We have a £100 cash prize, thanks to our amazing sponsors (who we will thank later in a separate post).

As well as the cash prize, many local business have generously donated to the raffle 👏, including The Loddon Brewery, Beale Wildlife Park, Stanrod Motors Woodcote, Pendon Museum, Chiltern Valley Winery & Brewery - Bed & Breakfast, The Oratory Sports Centre, Nebula Hair and Beauty, the Plaice Woodcote and Ada Meyhane Turkish restaurant.

Fancy a facial, some beers, a day out, a w**ery tour and tasting, fish and chips, or a meal at a Turkish restaurant? A list of prizes are shown below.

New for this year, we have been able to put together some hampers to be won, thanks to donations from the local community. More info on these to follow.

You can only buy raffle tickets while you are at the fete so please do come along, support a good cause, have a fun afternoon and you may be lucky enough to win a prize!

We hope many of you are going to enter the 2026 Produce, Craft and Flower show. We know it's been a long hot summer and many plants have suffered - but we want to encourage you to still enter. Remember our fete is fun and informal and we love to see the hall full of your fabulous entries. For those that want to be extra prepared - we will be in the village hall setting up from 3pm on Friday 11th and you can come along and pre register. You will be allocated an exhibitors number and provided exhibitor cards that you can fill in at home (but please leave your actual entries at home - we won't be ready to stage them). The hall will be open and ready for you on Saturday 12th between 9 and 11 am - we look forward to seeing you then.

🎵 Live music at Woodcote Village Fete! 🎵

We have two local bands performing at the fete this year, the talented Cold Harbour and denizen music. So come along, treat yourself to a drink and a bite to eat (there will be a variety of food and drink stalls available, including a bar) and enjoy the music and festival vibes!

Cold Harbour will be performing on the village green from 12.15pm to 1.00pm and Denizen from 2.45pm to 3.30pm. There will also be acoustic music in the village hall between 1.00pm and 3.00pm, so do pay a visit to the hall as well and listen to some talented local musicians. The craft and produce show is located in the village hall so lots to see in there also!

If you want to check out Cold Harbour in advance of the fete, they will be performing at the Wallingford BunkFest - 4.00pm on the Bullcroft Stage on Fri 4 Sep and 6.30pm at the Coachmakers Arms on Sat 5 Sep.

Help us fill a Hamper for the Fete - we would be very grateful for your help

The Fete team has been busy finalising the raffle. Alongside some fantastic donations by local businesses - we would like to create a couple of fabulous hampers. This year we would like to try something new and encourage our lovely community to donate an item for a hamper. Can you help?
This can be any unopened, in date and quality (store cupboard) food or drink item for a foodie hamper - such as jam, tea, chocolates, w**e. Or it could be for a family, house & garden hamper and include a candle, pretty notebook, flower seeds, soap, a new set of felt tip pens…
What would you like to find in a hamper? If you would like to offer us something please do get in touch. We would love to hear from you.

A huge thank you to Zuza’s Pet Services who will be running our dog show again this year!

The dog show will start at 2.00pm and you will need to register your dog beforehand (there will be a stand at the fete). The categories are in the picture below together with some photos of last year’s show.

Please bring along your four legged friend and give them a chance to shine! Woof 🐶

*** Announcing the return of Bubbles Man at this year’s Village Fete! ***

Please come along for some bubbly fun! 🤩
Bubbles Man will be performing in the arena between 1 and 2pm and then shortly after that he will be running a workshop for an hour to give others a chance to create some gigantic bubbles.

It’s guaranteed to be lots of fun so come and join us at Woodcote Village Fete on Saturday 12 September - 12 to 5pm!

With the warmer weather, our gardens are springing into life! The team always look forward to seeing the home grown produce and flowers on display in the village hall. Our new exhibit guide is currently being finalised and will be available on our website soon - but there are many classes that remain the same - including the tallest sunflower. Do plant a few and see if you can grow a giant!
