It was wonderful to see how local communities have been creatively participating with Reading's High Street Heritage Action Zone at the Discovering Untold Histories exhibition hosted by Reading Museum last night. Sometimes we aren't aware of our impact and purpose. Today, the illustration became so profound. Much more than our retelling the essence of a story. A couple recently moved here from HK visited. Their English isn't very good but I took them straight to the poster and we talked about their experiences. They saw the HK flower immediately and we talked about refugees.
