This weeks Thursday's Tiny Shift

That silly nickname that makes them giggle every single time?
It's not just cute.
It's a secret little world that belongs to just the two of you.
Children who feel uniquely seen by their parents carry that with them.

What's yours for your child?

Share below would love to know. 😄

36% of parents say making friends is their biggest worry about starting school. 👀
If you nodded at that.you're not alone.

What would your child do if no-one played with them?
That questions hits us to the core as parents.

Friendship skills can absolutely be practised before September.

Things like starting a conversation, joining in, and what to do when things go a bit wrong.

We cover all of it in my Super School Ready course, including "what if" scenarios
and how to be a super friend.

The summer holidays are actually the perfect time to work on this stuff.
low pressure, lots of play, no uniform required. 😄

Course is recorded, two weeks, do it at your own pace.

Many resources including my super friend cards to print off.

Drop the word school below or send me a DM

Love grows.
Something worth remembering today.
There is enough love to go around.
Its not divided.
Its not split.
Love doesn't work like that.

It multiplies.

Your firstborn isn't getting less of you.

They're getting a different version of life and right now that can feel scary
and unfair and confusing to them.

But with the right support,
what they're building is something they'll carry their whole lives.

A sibling.
A best friend.
Someone who gets it in a way nobody else ever will.

You're not failing them like I hear from many parents when they have another child.

You're in the middle of something really hard.

There's a big difference.
I want parents to know , if you have moved from one child to two.
Grab my fr33 resource.
"How to help your child adapt to life with a new sibling."

I know it will help.

DM me for the link.

What my parenting solutions hub is all about.

Trust Pilot Review about the Hub.

"Sue was not only super helpful on our consultation call with her,
but her Hub is a wealth of knowledge that we feel lucky to be able to dip into as issues arise.
Our daughter has some challenges with potty training, so the hub has provided both ourselves
and our nursery with clear guidance on next steps in an easy to read,
informative collection which is super helpful and fingers crossed
will get our daughter to where she needs to be very soon."🙂

Any questions drop me a DM , I love to chat

the water bottle is doing more than keeping them hydrated.

Every tiny bit of independence,
filling their bottle, doing their zip, carrying their bag ,adds to a quiet little voice that says

"I've got this."

That voice walks them into school in September.

My 2026 Super School Ready course is live now if you want to build more skills.

This is what toileting success can look like.

A little girl.
Really struggling specifically around poo.

The anxiety was real.

Sitting on the toilet felt completely overwhelming.
Her mum had tried everything.

Then we had a consultation looked at child's temperament, interests, sensory needs.

A draped towel over her daughter while she sat on the toilet.

Just to block out the stimuli around her.

No expensive equipment.

No special gadgets.

A towel.

And it worked.

When I share this with parents the reaction is almost always the same
oh my god, why did I not think of that?

That's why I do what I do.

If you're exhausted, you've tried everything, and your child is still struggling drop me a message or book a free call.

Let's find your version of the towel.

Share with any friends and family.

This weeks Thursday's Tiny Shift
Love notes.

Grab a scrap of paper.
Thirty seconds.
And somewhere in the middle of their day your child unfolds it and remembers they are loved.
You don't need grand gestures.
Just show up in the small moments. That's what they remember.

And if you want to make it even easier

I've got 10 free lunchbox notes ready for you to download and use straight away

Comment love below and will share the link.🥰
