What a great Family Weekend across Haslingden & Rawtenstall Markets! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend happen.

We had Rossendale Radio joining us, bouncy castles, face painting, family bingo, arts and crafts our princesses, and of course Spider-Man, who was out showing off his spider skills! 🕷️

Thank you to all of our vendors, entertainers and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring everything together.

And thank you to everyone who came along, supported the markets and enjoyed the activities. It was great to see so many families out enjoying both markets over the weekend.

What a fantastic day at Threads of Rossendale!

It was wonderful to see so many people celebrating Rossendale’s rich textile heritage with us. Visitors enjoyed exploring our Fashion Through the Decades exhibition, browsing the vintage clothing, meeting Millie the Victorian Mill Worker, enjoying live music from Lareena Mitchell, and sewing throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event and helped make it such a success.

This Saturday – Threads of Rossendale

Join us in Big Lamp Square, Haslingden, for a free community event celebrating Rossendale’s textile heritage.

Take a look at our Fashion Through the Decades display, browse a vintage clothing collection, explore Rossendale’s textile history, enjoy live music from Lareena Mitchell, watch live sewing demonstrations, visit the Lost Luggage Library and catch Rossendale Radio broadcasting throughout the day.

🎭 What a fantastic evening!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our first Family Comedy Night at Haslingden Market. It was wonderful to see so many people laughing, joining in and enjoying a great evening together.

A special thank you to Peter Dean for a brilliant comedy magic show, Kids DJ for keeping the atmosphere going throughout the evening, Niall and Ben for hosting ALR’s Stand-Up Bingo, everyone who took part in the open mic, and Tanys for the fantastic face painting.

A huge thank you also goes to all of the traders at Haslingden Market for their continued support and for helping to create such a welcoming atmosphere, and to The Big Dog Pizza for joining us as a fantastic pop-up stall.

Finally, we’re incredibly grateful to Haslingden Market, Rossendale Borough Council and The National Lottery Heritage Fund for their continued support in helping us bring community events like this to life.
