💙🖤This Black History Month, we’re celebrating Black talent, creativity and the contribution Black performers have made, and continue to make, to stage and screen.

Alongside some established actors you’ll spot some of our own Footlights children ❤️

Seeing yourself represented matters.

So does having the opportunity to tell your own story, explore your talents and be yourself.

We’re proud to be part of their journey.

Does your teenager dream of exploring the exciting world of acting? 🎭✨

Here are some of our fantastic Advanced Acting students in action during a script analysis session with their Director, Lew.

This class is the perfect support for students studying Drama GCSE or A-Level, giving them the opportunity to dive much deeper into the craft of acting through dedicated, in-depth training.

It’s so much more than just a class, it’s a pathway to growth, development, and success.

Through the texts they explore, students develop:
✨ Strategic and analytical thinking
✨ Confidence in making bold creative choices
✨ A deeper understanding of performance and character work
✨ Stronger decision-making skills both on and off stage
…and so much more.

If you know a young person who would thrive in this environment (ages 14–21), send me a message or bring them along tonight for a FREE trial session.

📅 Tuesdays
⏰ 6:30pm – 8:00pm
📍 Footlights Studios, Liberty Building, 1a Lord Street, Rawtenstall, BB4 7FG or BB4 7NA depending on which maps you use.

Immerse yourself in theatre, challenge yourself creatively, and watch your confidence grow. 🌟
