Big thanks to the Kammer Philharmonie of Cologne who gave an amazing concert on Friday evening. Music by Mozart and Paganini and two fabulous concertos by Vivaldi for cello and flute. A standing ovation from the crowd and two encores!
Our next concert is the superb Imromptu string quartet. October 1st 7.30. £5 at the door.

Looking forward to Richard Miller's guitar concert this evening. As well as standard classical and flamenco music Richard will be using his Digital Loop Pedal to create multi-layered musical textures and soundscapes. Looks like an enjoyable and interesting evening.

On 6th of July Richard Miller the renowned classical and flamenco guitarist comes to Holy Trinity. As well as a being a first-rate performer, Richard teaches guitar throughout Thanet through his unique Mobile Guitar Tuition service. This will be a great concert. Don't miss it!

This Saturday 2nd July we have an organ concert by the amazing John Wright from Folkestone.

As well as being a excellent organist, John is a Canon Emeritus of Canterbury Cathedral,
Rumour has it he is also a demon table tennis player!

Saturday 7th May. 7.30pm.

The 2016 concert season at Holy Trinity opens in May with the Gina Band.
Father and Son duo Frank and Jirka Gina- violin and viola- are part of the legendary Gina folk music dynasty of the Czech Republic.
Frank's father Ladislav worked with the foremost dancers and singers of Moravia including Jarmila Sulakova- one of the primary exponents of Moravian traditional music.
The family has been making radio and TV appearences for over 40 years.
On May 7th at Holy Trinity Frank and Jirka will perform a mixed programme from all over Europe including traditional music and works by established classical composers.

Hello everybody our page has been dormant for a little while but is now waking up again. Our next event is choral evensong on 24 April at 3pm. Watch this space for details and details of other events for the coming year.
Our concert programme is being prepared for this year and we are working towards having a concert on the first Saturday of every month, though this won't be established as quickly as we had originally planned

Last weekend was a busy one at Holy Trinity. On Saturday there was a concert by Cantate Chamber Choir. These excellent and well-known singers gave the audience a mixture of music spanning 500 years- from a motet by Passereau written in 1534 to Rule the World by Take
That. The choir has an excellent command of complex harmonies- sailing through major 7ths by Gershwin, and making light work of minor 9ths
and 11th chords by other composers. Along with piano and organ music from director Chris Randall and solo vocal and instrumental
performances from members of the choir this concert was a treat for everybody.
On Sunday Choral Evensong was given by the resident choir at Holy Trinity, along with the service of Benediction. Choral Evensong is a
musical service given daily in English cathedrals, and is now given quarterly at Holy Trinity. The choir gave robust performances of the
Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by John Ireland, and the anthem was the much-loved Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring by Bach.
Starting next year Holy Trinity will be hosting concerts on the first Saturday of every month, and Choral Evensong will be held quarterly
