Fancy a look at the studio? It’s a hive of activity at the moment as I’m working like crazy towards set up HOLD 19th November. With PV on 20th November 6-9. It feels so good to immerse myself in fashion illustration again. The show will be based around 4 stories and will run until the 22nd.

If you ever fancy a peek at the studio just shout I’m normally making a mess with paint working away.

Carpe flipping diem! Nothing like getting on it! Today Ive gesso’d, sketched and formed a plan. I didn’t quite 9-5 it .. it is the weekend after all. All this is work towards the exhibition HOLD in November … getting my fashion illustration head on and loving it. Once I start painting the final pieces I’ll share the progress .. so exciting !!!

October and November are busy months. As a self employed illustrator the year always seems to end in a crazy rush. This month I’m painting away on commissions and new works for an upcoming exhibition HOLD it’s going to be a fashion illustration frenzy.. I cannot wait. I hope you can make it . Day 2 prompt from with Jenny Duff ‘idea to completion’ . The minute I saw the prompt I knew it had to be these. Inspired by our family holiday to Seville and the flamenco cards that I bought ( yes couldn’t get just one!) I wanted to create some flamboyant kittens. From sketch to painting and then stitched. These kittens are scans of the original painting which I had done before as I knew it would become a new addiction. Ha ha x
