You might know Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons, but have they ever stimulated all your senses?

Listen to star violinist Ruth Rogers, the Nadejda Quartet and Hilary Davan Wetton in a compelling rendition of the beautiful Four Seasons concerti.

Watch as beloved local artist Georgie Weedon Georgie Weedon Studio paints each season live alongside them, her vivid brushstrokes and vibrant, joy-filled energy expressing the music in visual form.

Finally, feel your surroundings under your feet and in the air at special venue The Farm at Avebury, bringing a real connection to the natural landscape and the seasons, as well as the mystery of neighbouring Silbury Hill and the stones at Avebury.

From a village centrepiece to a hidden forest gem, find out the unique challenges and delights faced by musicians who play these varied instruments as they find them, hear secrets of the organist’s trade, and be refreshed by delicious teas at the end of a fascinating afternoon. Our fastest-selling event last year, ‘Rooted in Earth’, is back! If you missed out on tickets now is your time to grab them…

Join the fabulous David and Geoff Homer Homer Farming at the beautiful Warren Farm for a fascinating insight into the rural ecosystem, food production and how everything comes from the soil. After you’ve worked up an appetite on your walk, join us back at the barn for a farm-to-table rustic lunch made by James Graham and the chef team at The Bell at Ramsbury. Finish off with delicious The Milk Yard ice cream made on site, courtesy of the cows you’ve just met! All accompanied by beautiful folk music.

Think you know about military bands? Get to know The Band of The Household Cavalry up close at a once-in-a-lifetime experience for both musical and non-musical teenagers!

Taking place at St Johns School, Marlborough, the day features side-by-side playing where players can sit inside the section and be guided by Band members, and fascinating insights into all aspects of life in the Band - their uniforms, horses, training, and even a bit of marching practice…

You’ll have the chance to chat to these fabulous, talented people and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to know - how do you ride a horse and play the tuba at the same time, and how do you get those boots so shiny?!

We are so excited to be opening the 2026 Festival on 1st October with Licence to Ceilidh: London's Top Ceilidh Band!

After feasting on Scottish traditional dishes at long, communal wooden tables and perhaps fortifying yourself with a drink or two from The Ridgeway Barns fully stocked bar, adjourn to the next events space and try your hand at the Dashing White Sergeant - we won’t even tell if you tread on a toe or two!

Time for a quick break to get your breath back? Choose a themed drink, a taste of a Scottish pud or a quiet moment around the Barns’ beautiful firepit.

We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Festival is now LIVE!

We’ve doubled in scale for 2026, and this year we are featuring opera, classical, folk, music for children and teenagers, military band, church and chamber music, visual art, participatory music and creative activity, fine dining, feasting, tea and cake, wine, walks and even dancing!

We’re excited to be collaborating again with old friends and making new ones, returning to special venues and exploring further afield.
