It’s clear that after showing you a snippet of our recent trip to Japan that you are interested to see more of this and we’re happy to share it.
For many people visiting Japan is a dream and if you have a hobby like ours where Japan is a global influence, it makes it even more appealing.
Japan has never become a normal experience to us and you never really get used to it as there is so much to see, do and discover and it’s all good.
On this trip we mixed up some ‘work’ with a little bit of touristy stuff and just like that our flight home to the UK came around really quick after 7 days.
We have been doing business in Japan since the late 1990’s, revolving around import cars, racing and shipping.
A little known fact is Kent Models started by chance, as Aoshima approached us to licence one of our real car builds to make a kit from.
If you have seen the black Rocket Bunny Speedhunters Toyota GT86, that’s the car and kit that started this journey for us and we are proud to sell a kit of a car that we produced.
Although, that’s not the first time. Do you remember the Tamiya Sumo Power GT1 Nissan GT-R RC kit? That was our actual car too, yep the real one (or two as it was in reality).
We’re mixed up in the online world of plastic model kits that appear just like everyone else yet behind it is extreme enthusiasts and a genuine family business.
We’ll keep bringing you awesome stuff as best we can as long as you want to keep supporting us.
