Father's day, Sunday 21st June. Are you going to knit or crochet him a gift? Then check out these free Stylecraft patterns in the new stronger shades of Bambino like Grunge grey or whipped walnut. The sweater might be a bit ambitious for next weekend but the crochet fisherman's beanie shouldn't take long. Whatever Dad's hobby is, fishing, gardening, or even just walking the dog, living in North East England, he is going to need a hat !!

Three new colours in Cherished DK from those lovely people at King Cole.

Fennel, fig and paprika are three new, stronger, colours of this favourite yarn in 100% anti pilling acrylic. Soft enough for baby but hard wearing enough for the rest of the family too.
There are a couple of new patterns too for children 1 to 8 years with lovely cable pattern details.

Hi Pauline here. I still have my addiction to crocheting the little cardigans by . They are crocheted all in one piece so no sewing up needed.
This time I'm using King Cole Comfort DK in shade Sky with a bunny motif to finish it off.
