I am so happy and excited to announce my business Jade's Roses is open and trading! I am focusing on jewellery making at the moment but i do also make home decor and gifts and i am enjoying expanding my skills in that area! I first started making jewellery when i was in my early teens and i developed an interest in the gothic style. I didnt have much money and i couldnt afford to buy alternative jewellery and so i would go to car boot sales and charity shops buying second hand jewellery which i would take apart and make into alternative designs that suited my taste. It taught me to think outside of the box and come up with how i could make what i wanted out of the random supplies i would have! Now i can afford to buy brand new supplies to make beautiful jewellery but i still never follow any instructions lol i still love to figure out how to create what i envision. For me every piece has a story. It starts with a spark of an idea, a feeling, a sense of character and it grows as i make each piece. I create things to make people feel seen, valued and to bring you joy! I see jewellery as an expression of who we are and i hope you connect with something ive made to express yourself. It is just the start of my business journey and i hope you will join me for the ride! xx
