An early mixed media landscape from around 2000, inspired by the atmosphere and surrounding landscape of Accrington.

This piece feels raw, expressive and full of movement, with rich earthy browns, burnt orange, deep greens and soft lilac skies creating a moody northern landscape that sits somewhere between memory and emotion.

Looking back at these early works, you can already see the beginnings of the style that would later shape so much of my work as an artist.
