Preston DJ Social

Flashback post to our August DJ Social at Chew's Yard when we had AlphaTheta/Pioneer DJ Global BDE Representative Robert Woodward give us a showcase of the newly released AlphaTheta CDJ - 1500X.

We greatly appreciate the equipment support we receive from AlphaTheta at all of our DJ Socials. Showcases like this are vital to helping Preston DJ Social make industry-standard DJ equipment more accessible to the Lancashire DJ community.

Not only did we receive a full walkthrough of the AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X, but we were also able to use two of the players for our open deck. Rob was on hand throughout the event. After the showcase and having a go themselves, our attendees were able to ask further questions if they needed.

Preston DJ Social is about using DJing as part of a positive mental health routine and making new friends through a shared passion. We are also a hub for Lancashire's DJs to learn about the industry, develop skills & network, no matter your ability.

Thanks again to everyone who attended and to Rob & AlphaTheta for their support.

Lancashire continues to have a higher su***de rate than the England average, and every death has a lasting impact. Research shows that around 135 people are affected by every su***de*, meaning thousands of people across experience the ripple effects each year.

By coming together on ***dePreventionDay, we can remember those we've lost, support those who have been affected and help create a future where conversations about su***de are met with compassion and understanding.
