Just over a week ago I got my paint box back outā€¦ā€¦ A few years ago I painted daily. I took some time out for some quality time with my youngest daughter before she started preschool. I aimed to start back painting last year.

On the 1st of December last year I broke my right hand in two places, I struggled to write with a pen for months.

Two weeks ago my youngest asked me to paint her some Bluey stonesā€¦ so here I am. Here are less than two weeks creations, most of which have made their way to their forever homes. Safe to say I think my hand is almost healed šŸ«¶

Thank you so much for your support, and itā€™s great to be back šŸ„°

Took advantage of the beautiful sunshine today to have a long walk. May only have been 4 degrees, but seeing the bright blue skies was every bit worth wrapping up for.

How long has it been? A year?

Been a while since I last posted. In all honesty I fully expected to only take a short break from painting. As many of you know life gets busy, kids keep you busy and last November I suffered a broken right hand.

Yesterday my three year old wanted me to paint. I asked what she would like and she chose these little guys. For those of you unfamiliar, they are characters from the show Bluey (which is an absolutely brilliant watch and a firm fave in our house)

I posted yesterday on my personal page and got such a lovely response, I decided these may be made welcome here.
