LVM Choir The LVM Choir rehearses at the Longton VM Club in Longton, near Preston most Wednesday evenings. We

The LVM Choir stands for the Longton Victory Memorial Choir, because we rehearse in the Longton Victory Memorial Sports and Social Club down School Lane, so called because it is built on land set aside by the village after World War I as a memorial to those who lost their lives locally. The atmosphere in the club is vibrant, with a real community feel, which comes through in each rehearsal, making

the spirit of the choir completely unique. We were never going to do any concerts, and tonight is our very first so the choir deserves a massive well done for being brave enough to stand up in front of an audience.

Looking forward to our next concert in aid of Aching Arms UK this September at Longton VM

Our next evening concert is ‘Sing For Aching Arms’ on Friday 13th September at 7:30pm.

The concert is all about the LVM Choir performing nostalgic songs in aid of raising money for the fantastic Aching Arms UK charity. To find out more about the charity we’re raising money for, please visit their website at https://achingarms.co.uk.

Had a great time with the LVM choir last night. We sang at the Lady President's meeting of the NFU. A mix of students and choir entertained the 80 strong Debbie Crowley. with Katy Bradley, Joan Worthington, Joan Marshall, Katie Poulton and many others. Joined by MATILDA, SONYA LIZZIE AND RACHEL with Sam on the guitar, a good night was had my all. Sue won yet more stuff to keep her clean!! We missed Cath Patterson who is off for an operation x......and the cakes..wow!!
