What an effort

So today I went out to Pendle Hill, arrived at 3:30am to set up for a beautiful sunrise. However this didn't end up happening. Proceeded to go up and down Pendle Hill a few times to get my steps in whilst raising money for DiabetesUK, accomplished ascending 5 times altogether then went off course to Nicky Nook and to George Fox's Well before my body gave way and had to head back. (More pictures to follow in the next few days)

On the 22nd July starting sunset and ending sunrise I will be embarking on a journey ascending Pendle Hill as many times as I can. Until either sunset or until my body gives way.

This is to raise money for Diabetes UK, the leading charity for research into treatments for helping people living with Diabetes in the UK everyday.

Reaching the top 2.5 times is equivalent to climbing Ben Nevis and 10.5 times is the same as scaling the tallest mountain in the world Mount Kilamanjaro.

As you are aware this year I'm doing the Diabetes UK Million steps challenge to raise money. Well one of the days I will be traversing Pendle Hill to the height of Ben Nevis and beyond until either my body gives way or the sun goes down!
